Our guide to global music, Tendai Maphosa, tells us about the music of Angelique Kidjo of Benin. When she was growing up, Kidjo was influenced by rock 'n roll, but also by the late South African artist Miriam Makeba. Now, like Makeba, Kidjo is an international star in her own right. She's also a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.
