Foosball in MaliGrant Fuller/World Vision Report
Soumaila Diarra with a stack of old, worn-out 'baby foot' tables outside his home in Bamako. Grant Fuller/World Vision Report
Description
You may have played foosball as a kid, the game with little soccer players attached to spinning metal rods. Foosball is quite popular in French West Africa, commonly played on homemade tables set up alongside dusty streets.
In Mali, reporter Grant Fuller met a vendor who builds and manages street foosball tables. Grant sent this report from Bamako.
