Last Wednesday, Morgan Tsvangirai was sworn in as Zimbabwe's new Prime Minister. It took months of power-sharing talks to get to this point. Some are optimistic that this new arrangement will bring change to the desperate country. But others are not so sure.

On top of this, the currency has changed, and the cholera epidemic seems to be getting worse. It's not easy to keep track of all the rapid developments in Zimbabwe, so we decided to check in with Tendai Maphosa in Harare, a Zimbabwean journalist who has been a guest on our show many times –- often as our guide to global music -- but this week, we're talking about the news.
