MomosPeter Aronson/World Vision Report
Preparing momos, small dumplings popular in Dharmsala, India, for steaming.
Description
Tibetans love their momos — little steamed dumplings similar to Chinese potstickers. They're particularly popular in McLeod Ganj, India, where many Tibetan exiles live.
In this installment of our What's Cooking series, reporter Peter Aronson finds that in exile, Tibetan cuisine can't avoid mingling with the flavors of its host country, or escape the influence of the many Western tourists who stream through the Himalayan town.
Encore presentation from August 8, 2009.
