Buildings, schools, hospitals and homes in Haiti are now piles of rubble, with thousands dead and as much as one third of the country's population affected. Jean Appolon has appeared on our show before for his work in Boston, teaching Haitian dance. He grew up in Haiti, but these days he splits his time between New York and Boston. Right now he feels a long way from home, where he lost several family members in the quake. He joined Peggy Wehmeyer by phone.
