Description

On the main road into Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, one building can't be missed. It's known as the Titanic, and it's home to several hundred people, mostly ex-fighters displaced by the war that ended in 2003.

Reporter Grant Fuller spent 24 hours at the Titanic — sleeping in the building, eating with the residents, and playing with kids. He has this story of a day in the life of a squatter settlement.
