Earlier in the program we heard about Give US Your Poor, an album made by celebrity artists and homeless musicians. One of the songs, "Boll Weevil," was performed by Dan Zanes and a teenage singer named Kyla Middleton.
Kyla spent some time in a homeless shelter when she was around 8 years old. She shared her story with reporter Will Everett.
