Women in Iran have a huge stake in the disputed presidential election. Rather than staying in the background, many have been boldly visible both throughout the campaign and in this week's demonstrations questioning the results. Reform-minded women are demanding a change in marriage and custody laws, and the ratification of an international bill barring all forms of discrimination against women.
