Description

Staff Benda Bilili is the name of a group of homeless street musicians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo who hang around the zoo in Kinshasa. They all suffered from polio when they were kids, and now get around on custom-made tricycles.

They've recorded a new album called "Tres Tres Forte," which means "very, very strong." Here's their story, brought to us by our guide to global music, Ish Mafundikwa.
