Freedom Fighters in BenghaziLibyan volunteers who have joined anti-government forces undergo military training at a camp in Benghazi, Libya.
Description
Libyan leader Moammar Ghadafi has vowed "to fight to the end, to the last man, last woman" to maintain power in Libya. Rebels are relying on defectors from Ghadafi's army and on thousands of untrained volunteers, young men who say they were destined to live in poverty and despair under Ghadafi's regime and who were galvanized into action.
Bonnie Allen takes us inside the military camps and slums of Benghazi to learn more about what's motivating these self-proclaimed freedom fighters.
