Psychologist Dr. Maria Rago heads the eating disorder program at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. She was searching for a way to help the young people in her program.

Eating disorders, she says, are very difficult to treat and overcome. One day as she was considering how to best help her patients, she thought about the fact that some people refuse to eat, while others don't even have the choice. And then an idea came to her about how she might connect the two. She describes the program to host Peggy Wehmeyer.
