The United Nations estimates that three million Colombians have been forcibly displaced from their homes — a result of the ongoing war for land between guerrilla soldiers, paramilitaries, corporations and the government. Most of the internal refugees are kids, whose childhoods have been turned upside down. At a shelter in Bogotá, reporter Madeleine Bair met one young girl named Paula who finds release through singing.
