Rachael Borlase/World Vision Report
Stick sellers from Kamoria must walk about seven-and-a-half miles to get their product to market.
Description

There are few ways for women to make a living in Sierra Leone. In the village of Kamoria, a group of women work hard to provide some extra cash for their family: they walk miles while carrying heavy loads of sticks on their heads. Selling the sticks brings in one or two dollars a day, if they're lucky.

Rachael Borlase reports.
