Landmines in SamaniegoDescription
The 44-year-long civil war in Colombia has left entire portions of the country littered with landmines. Rebels use the landmines to keep government troops at bay. But the landmines also have isolated entire villages. Consequently, residents of some villages have to walk through minefields just to get food and supplies for daily living.
